Set in the 1930s Deep South, NORMA follows a once-revered blues singer fighting to reclaim her voice and identity. In a world that tries to slience her, she rises once more to reclaim her legacy.

Louisiana, 1933. Once hailed as "The Godmother of Blues," Norma Ann Waters was the voice of a generation — her name in lights from New Orleans to Memphis. Now, the bookings have dried up, the crowds have moved on, and the music world is hungry for something new.
When a prestigious theater offers Norma a shot at revival — on their terms — she finds herself at a crossroads: bend to the demands of a changing industry, or hold fast to the music that made her. With her loyal manager Ray fighting to keep her career alive and a gifted young songwriter who believes in the sound she was born to sing, Norma must decide what she's willing to sacrifice to reclaim what was taken from her.
Rooted in the soul of the Deep South and set against the backdrop of the Swing Era, Norma is a story about artistic integrity, the courage to stay true to yourself when the world demands otherwise, and the enduring power of a voice that refuses to be silenced.
Some voices can't be dimmed.
Some flames won't go out.
